A pilot test was conducted in a school in Portugal, the Helen Keller Centre in 2020, where the first COMICS were presented to the students by the teacher (during online classes due to COVID 19 constraints).
The evaluation from the teacher and the students (7 to 9 years old) was extremely positive, highlighting the added value of COMICS as it stimulates your visual sense more intensely than just printed text alone can do. Furthermore, the sequentially presented scenes depicted in a comic book facilitate rapid assimilation of the story line.
